I personally find the breakfast sandwiches and pastries to be fantastic in the morning. Unfortunately, the staff is rude, short, and at times incompetent. There are a few staff that are pleasant but the mains ones at the resister are just terrible.

I ordered Cajun Chicken sandwich and spinach cheese croissants. My sandwich did not have enough chicken and vegetable fillings and the edges of the bread were completely dry without any filling, the croissant was also not properly heated withot the generous filling that used to be what made Michel’s pasteries stand out. Disappointed that the quality has gone down, won’t buy again for sure not at this location. Waste of money. Definitely not recommend it.

Coffee is decent but expensive ($2.60 for a large and you pour your own). Everything else is decent and pretty fresh. Staff are helpful and friendly.

First time customer, almost. Way too much attitude from the middle aged white woman. I had barely begun my order. Needless to say first and last experience.

Very bad experience. I work overnight at commerce court and i usually grab breakfast from the food court. So today morning I just grabbed a bagel with jam and butter from Michel’s. I know it’s not a huge order but that’s all I really wanted. So I repeated my order to the lady. And when she handed over my order to me I saw that it’s just bagel with butter. I told her that I clearly mentioned bagel with jam and butter. She gave me a mean look and took it away from me and said that it’ll charge more. And as she added jam to it she literally started cursing me in her native language with her colleague. The worst was the way she handed it back to me. Literally throwing it at me. Thats not how you should greet your customers that too at 8:30 in the morning. It ruined my morning and I felt so embarrassed for the behaviour and how rude she was.

Customer service is always great and the coffee is good but that's about it. I have tried several kinds of pastries at this location as I am usualy a big fan of Michels Bakery at the yorkdale and fairview mall location, but everything here is as hard as stone. I don't know if they are doing something wrong to their dough or they just make too much and the ones they sell are stale but it is just plain awful. It all tastes the same. Which is sad as the other locations have amazing quality. I usualy don't mind paying higher prices for good quality pastry, but unfortunately at this location it is just not worth it.
