Client Review on Mr. Handyman

Feedback:

Looking to have bathroom fans installed, I came across Mr. Handyman and submitted a very detailed service request online (pictures and all). Ruth called me, confirmed the info, gave a estimate of the price, and I set up an installation date.Later that day shes calls back and doubles her initial quote, and says they need to send someone to do an assessment before they commit to installation. Uneasily I agreed. Later in that week she calls again with a rude tone requesting to swap my assessment date with someone having roof work done (because rain was scheduled). Being flexible, I agreed.Assessment day arrives, and I leave work early to meet them at my house... hours later and nobody has shown up. I call their office and leave a voicemail asking for explanation, and it's now been 3 weeks without a peep from anyone at Mr. Handyman. This seems to be a trend with them now looking at other reviews online.I hired someone else for it and they did an amazing job with no assessment needed, and no B.S. on the phone. Best part was they did it for LESS THAN HALF the price of Mr. Handyman's quote. Save yourself hassle and don't hire them.
