Feedback:

This place is the worst place to take your dog ever. They are not watched correctly and there are a lot of dog fights that pet parents are told about when their dog is involved. There are mice downstairs with the kennels,the fences are unstable and the staff is childish and unfriendly. Most of the staff sits in break room watch Netflix or gossiping instead of watching your dogs.

My Morkie pup went here for the full grooming service (bath, hair cut, nail trimming) a few months ago and I was very pleased. However, I took him back for the same services this weekend and the groomer clipped his paw with the clippers, causing him to bleed excessively. I had to take him to the emergency vet hospital and he ended up needing surgery and stitches. While receiving the call that my puppy needed rushed to the vet hospital, I was asked why I didn’t mention he had dewclaws. This is not my fault and anyone grooming a dog should do a full assessment, especially because the groomer had cut his fur before. We will not be returning.

Do not take your pet here for grooming, They clippered my dog way to short and cut him and said it was from an allergic reaction to there shampoo, Overcharged me for the grooming services. Also gave my dog children's liquid Benadryl without my consent. I took pictures of what I wanted done to my dog and they butchered her. I'll post my pictures in next review. Unhappy Customer. Owner john said he would call me and never called me back the next day. My dog was very traumatized and slept for 2 days from there dosage of Benadryl given. I will NOT return.

We absolutely LOVE the Paw Spa. Our dog runs right in and is always happy (and tired! haha) when we pick him up. We can't think of anywhere else we would feel more comfortable leaving him! The staff really does get to know the dogs and takes care of them as their own. :-) They also do an awesome job grooming! Our dog''s fur is always clean, soft, and smelling great!

We go for day care/grooming after they lost their long time groomer we haven't been happy. I 'd like to continue going for day care as my dog seems happy but the older woman checking people in and out seems so unhappy to deal with us I'm not sure I feel welcome coming back. She is rude and unfriendly and seems bothered when you need to ask anything from her. Other staff has always been great. Hopefully they find someone who wants to be there. She does not seem to fit that description.

I have been taking my dog to pawspa for 2 years now, and my parents have also switched to paw spa because of my experience! The service here is beyond amazing! They can meet whatever needs you have for your fur baby! Amazing staff and amazing care for the animals. Will continue to support pawspa 😊!

Cat boarding is rare in Pittsburgh. I looked at half a dozen pet hotels before a recent trip, and PawSpa offered the only cage-free boarding. Their grooming services are also top-notch. My fur babies got their first baths and came home smelling amazing!

We took our 2 Great Pyrenees to this establishment for boarding and grooming 6/15-6/18. Today my wife was brushing out my male and found a giant clump of matted fur with what appeared to be shampoo left in his fur. She contacted the owner and the employee she spoke with initially notified her that the groomer was fired this week. The owner called my wife back and told her this wasn’t their problem and that they didn’t cause this issue. He then laughed at her when she stated she would be contacting an attorney regarding vet fees. He told my wife that we were not welcome to bring our dogs back again and that all we do is complain. To note we took our dogs here before and had them groomed and when they came home they were filthy and smelled of urine, we gave them a second chance because they apologized and made it right before. This isn’t the way you run a business and now the owner has accused my wife of attempting to extort money from a small business. Perhaps a simple apology might have went a long way.
