Feedback:

Wow! What a great look at a very reasonable price. I needed to update a kitchen before selling a house and needed something durable and attractive. It was a very impressive result. Special thanks to Gay and Dale for making it so easy.

Feedback:

Jesse was professional, courteous and did an amazing job! My 65 year old bathtub looks brand new.

If you want to save time and money, Perma-Glaze came through for us. We wanted granite, couldn't afford it. Perma-Glaze stone finish, fraction of the cost. Home sold in two weeks! MNR

Feedback:

It was a nightmare! It took over one month until they completed the final top coat on a tub/shower unit and a double sink countertop. A month of no bathroom or bedroom use. We were told: "In 30 years of business you happened to be that one job where everything went wrong." WHAT?! The tape masking job was horrible and we still have overspray all around which requires us to repaint the walls. No one told us we needed to cover our bedroom furniture & TV because the glaze emits a fine mist like a sprayer unit. I covered to protect my stuff but a day late after walking in and seeing the air filled with paint/glaze mist. There was no ventilation tank used to help draw fumes and mist, only our ceiling fans and opening a window.Only one tech was sent who had multiple jobs bouncing around before coming back to do the next phase. Scheduling took several days.Someone didn't clean a tank after use and white streaks were sprayed over our chosen dark glaze. That took additional days to work out. Tiles were broken which took several days for them to agree to fix and do it. Their "manufacturer" ran out of top coat. That took a couple full weeks to finally resolve and schedule. And we had already paid in full. No problem for them to come get money on a Sunday with an unfinished project!! We were going to do another full bathroom and our kitchen. Not now. We also had 2 family houses lined up wanting to schedule this system and a co-worker too. Not now.I gave 1 star because it does look good if you don't peer too closely. I have no idea how durable and bright the glaze will stay.

Feedback:

While this process might work well for bathtubs, I can’t recommend it for sinks. Just a little over a month ago we had this done. The original refinish was very uneven, so the company sent someone to repair it. Somewhat better, but within two weeks, there was a chip in the surface (not caused by any damage due to a hit) and now the bottom of the sink is discoloured and shows quite a bit of wear - which was the main reason we had it refinished to begin with. Also, when the sink was picked up at the business after the refinishing, the drains were not sent back. Since this was the Friday morning before New Years, the business was closed for the holidays from the moment the sink was picked up until the following Tuesday - which meant we had to purchase new drains and install them before we could use our kitchen sink. The company agreed to refund $25.00, but we haven’t received it.All in all, I would recommend purchasing a new sink rather than refinishing it. From our experience, refinishing was a waste of time and money.

Feedback:

My wife and I have a galley kitchen, 2 bathrooms,a desk top and bureau top counters that were outdated and needed upgrading. Our first thought was to hire a contractor to rip out all the existing counter tops and then have new custom counter tops fabricated and installed by the same contractor. The more we thought about the project, the more involved it became as we soon realized that we would also need a plumbing company to disconnect all the sinks, faucets, garbage disposal etc. Then the plumber would have to return after the new counter tops had been installed to reinstall everything. We figured this project would be expensive, messy, time consuming and would require coordinating the services of several contractors and still there was the unknown time that we would not be able to have use of the kitchen and baths. Luckily we found a company called Ace PermaGlazeand was impressed by the service they offered. They are pros at resurfacing existing counter tops and fixtures without the hassle of tearing out the existing counters and disconnecting the plumbing. We looked at their vast array of colors and finishes to choose the new look of our future resurfaced counter tops. Once we understood the process which would have an Ultra grip primer resin applied to all our surfaces, followed by a second coat of the color and look we chose, then it would be finished with a sealer in matte, satin or gloss whichever we preferred. The owner then came and measured all surfaces, we were quoted a very reasonable price for such a big job and they scheduled the work according to our schedule. It took 1 1/2 days to complete the project and our old out dated counter tops are looking really nice and modern. We were without our kitchen for two days but we would have been without the use of it for much longer if we had not chosen Ace PermaGlaze. The employee who did our work, Sylvan, had been doing it for 15 years and did all he could to make us happy and give us a quality job. He even offered to come back on his day off if we needed him for anything! Thanks to Ace PernaGlaze and their unique product and expertise we now have counter top surfaces we can be proud of for much less than new and far less down time than ripping out everything. We are really happy with the completed look and work.Thank you Ace PermaGlaze and Sylvan for a great job!L and M

Feedback:

Just had my bath tub, surround, vanity and sink coated with perma glaze.Color on surround was uneven in color with visible light and dark areas. Surround repair work was performed poorly and will require additional work to allow fixtures to be re-installed. Vanity surface looks great, but is very bumpy. Sink was not coated correctly with gaps in areas that will be problematic in the future.I expected much better for the cost.

Feedback:

Perma glaze refinished all my out of date counter tops to look fashionable and new. It helped me sell my house that had lingered on the market for months. After Perma glaze, it sold quickly.

Feedback:

I just had my fiberglass bathtub and surround refinished by Perma-Glaze today and I am extremely pleased with the result. I recently moved into a condo which had been unoccupied for several years. I believe that factored in to the bad condition of the tub surface (ie. stains left untreated). Now it looks good as new. I was impressed by the professionalism of the technician and office staff.

As a retired "refinisher" from Michigan, I an happy and confident to say there isn't a better option when when it comes to repairing and changing the look of your homes hard surfaces. If your looking for an alternative to an expensive and time consuming remodel you should call Ace Perma-Glaze. I think it's safe to say QUALITY is the reason they have been in Tucson since 1978. Oh and did I mention they are local and Family Owned, give them a call to schedule an appointment and get an honest assessment of your refinishing and remodeling needs.
