Client Review on Portland Glass

I had the windshield replaced in my 2017 f-150 In February. A couple weeks ago, I could hear water rushing around the inside of my cab. Not knowing that the two were related, I took my car to the dealer to have it investigated. The dealer told me that the water was due to a leak in the windshield. Because they already had the truck torn apart and because there was sitting water on my floorboards I had them fix the issue. I had no interest in driving the truck around all weekend like that. Portland Glass fixed the windshield but refused to reimburse me for the damage repairs ($370). The woman on the phone (Julie) was slightly condescending and questioned my decision making. She insisted that I should have came to them first. Im not sure how this would have played out if If I was unable to get to a Portland glass office but that is besides the point. She said that she would "investigate" and talk to a technician and call me back. Well I never got a call back and was forced to have my insurance fight it. Luckily there is a Safelite around the corner from my office. I certainly will not be using them for the glass in our shower as well.
