First, this is the corporate office. While complaints of bad franchises should be directed to corporate, the Franchises themselves are business entities in and of themselves and they make their own (sometimes poor) decisions. Complaining of a corporation because a franchise did you wrong is simple minded.Snap-On as a corporation is a near 100 year old American manufacturing staple producing the best tools in the industry hands down. This isn't shared by all, to be sure, but the industry speaks for itself, and you are looking at the brand of choice. They stand behind their product, they stand behind american manufacturing, and they will be around for a good long time.

Buyer be aware -Ripoff, straight forward ripoffOwned snap-on ratchet F710 ALS for a long time.Plastic handle brokeCalled Snap-on customer support with the attempt to exchange it , due to it being on " Life Time Warranty" Customer support refused to exchange it, for 2 reasons:- must provide proof of purchase ( purchased 15-20 years ago)- the item is discontinued Wanted me to spend another $125 and Directed me to purchase another ratchet from them.Doesn't it sounds like ripoff to you? What's the purpose of buying one of the most expensive tools where the company gives you the runaround and doesn't even honor their warranty?Snap-on, one little ratchet costs $125 +Where you can buy the whole toolbox worth of decent good quality tools from the company that would honor their warranty- no questions asked.Reader, next time you spend a dollar with Snap-on, ask yourself this question: Am I buying the tool or their good marketing efforts? No more Snap-on, you've lost my respect forever.

Feedback:

A great company that, as best I can tell, is staffed with smart and generous people. Buy Snap-on and never look back.

Feedback:

Snap-on Tools used to be of a higher quality. But as with most things, Chinese made is the new norm. My issue is with the credit unit in Libertyville il. Our representative decided to rip off most of his customers, and flee the country. So I had my wife call the credit office and make my payment, the woman that she spoke with could not of been more rude. I called and said to put her on the account, so she calls again still getting the run-around, I'm just trying to give them money, so what the hell is going on? Then I received a letter stating that they are aware of the issue, and to go online to make payments. Well the letter arrived on the 14th of this month, and the due date is the 11th, not really an issue. So I go to the website to make payment, and it says you can not use a smart phone, has to be a computer. So I guess I'll have to by a laptop now. Thanks Snap-on.

Snap On credit department called me today trying to recover property from me from the I believe former owner of my home. Because he lived here more than 12 years ago. They knew my name and somehow got my cell number. I cannot fathom why they would be calling me now. Clearly they used public county property records to find my name. And should have been able to ascertain that the property went from Joshua Keil (Kiel) to a bank as it was foreclosed on and I bought my property from the bank. Maybe you should use you credit departments skills better to track down who truly owes you money and property. And not bother people who have nothing to do with it and never did. Im disgusted by this and would now never do business with you nor would I ever reccomend your company to anyone else. I had a positive view of your company until today. Its disgusting that you track down people who own property now that had people who formerly lived there over a decade ago that owe you money looking for them. Beware if you live at an address of anyone who ever has owed Snap-on money they will track you down and hunt you down for it. Called the corporate office they would not let me speak to anyone other than the credit department whom I don't want to speak to again. I think I'll be placing a call or email to the Better Business Bureau to report their Shady practices.

Feedback:

I’ve never had a business charge me a $5 fee every time I make a payment to my online account. This is not a interest charge this is a fee for simply paying your bill. I could understand credit cards a processing fee but this is for linked debit cards and linked bank accounts. Not to mention a 16% interest rate.

Feedback:

Run a Mechanics shop, Tried tools once bought a few drills, couple sets of wrenches and sockets. Drill battery gave out after 3 months, drill itself is about to give out, sockets themselves have fractured along the side, driver that sold them too me doesn't return calls or preform the updates that they charge you for. Best part of the company is the main office customer service line they are perfect. The tools themselves are the same as any tool out there. Nothing Special.

Feedback:
