Before coaching it felt like I was just a boss that assigned tasks to my people, and they would come to me with every question. Through coaching I have been able to connect with my people better by understanding different personality types, gaining a better perspective, and setting intentional time to mentor them. In the past, going on vacation was stressful because I knew I was going to come back to a ton of work and issues to address, but the skills I developed in coaching helped me build up my people to be more proactive and self-sufficient so coming back from vacation was stress free and like I never even left.

When I first got into coaching it was after a major transition from management into full-time production. I was definitely behind where I wanted to be income-wise and with my results. But since working with my coach, Marjorie, she has helped me put a plan together and stay accountable to that plan and making my calls. I know if I don't she will not only ask me about them, but get on the phones with me and because of that I do the things I don't always like doing but I know are necessary to growing my business. And… IT'S WORKING!! August was my best month ever since starting back in December. I am writing loans hands down more than before. I am more confident and just doing things differently than before. While previously I would tell people "my business is built on referrals" now I am using CLASP, not just pitching agents, but figuring out how we can partner together as a team. I am comfortable asking for the business. Even agents on the other side of the closing table are asking to meet and work with me! My biggest hang-up about coaching was spending the money, but it's worth it because it's HELPING ME… closing just an extra deal has almost already paid for all of it. Coaching helps me keep a better focus and urgency towards my goals. When I tell my coach my goals that I am excited to work towards I know it won't go under the radar, and he will check up on them. It has helped me overcome the mental barriers of a bigger goal with plenty of time, like a monthly, quarterly, or annual goal. It has helped me reduce procrastination and thinking I have plenty of time to get that done. Coaching has helped me instill and keep urgency in my business, which helps me maximize every single day and appointment to have that higher level of consistency because the bigger goal is kept on my mind.
