WOW, 5 Stars, 10 out of 10!A quality product, clean and precise installation, 15 doors, and only half a day! Everything that they promised and better. From Nancy, who took our call, efficiently managed the whole process and always got back to us with the right answer, to Val, our Sales Specialist, who patiently helped us articulate our vision, to Andrew, our Measure Tech, who ensured precision and even came back out to meet with our carpenter, to Ray and Frank, the skilled and professional installers, the process could not have been better.I had promised to post this earlier this year but when my wife fractured her pelvis just three weeks after moving in to our new home., you can only imagine how painful our move has been! While I was skeptical, at first, this experience was painless and we love what our friends have said about the doors.Thank you, HomeStory Doors of Chicago!

After seeing our daughter's new doors installed by HomeStory we contracted them to install interior and closet doors. From the beginning where an estimate was made to the actual installation the whole process was very thorough and professional. The final product was immaculate. I highly recommend HomeStory as a company who delivers the product they advertise with 100% satisfaction

I cannot tell you how happy we are with our doors and the service that was provided throughout the whole door replacement process.I had been doing research for almost 18 months on how to replace the original 1960’s doors in our home. From looking at the box stores to try replacing all 13 of them ourselves, to contacting our go-to contractor and getting recommendations on where to get them and planning out a time to replace them (deliver and store 13 doors, replace them to ensure they git, remove them and paint them, put them back in …), to reaching out to referrals to others who have done this project before. Needless to say, I did my homework in order to find the most timely and COST effective way to do this, all while having 2 small children in our home. A year ago I made an appointment with Home Story to get an estimate and looked at some of the reviews and got scared and cancelled the appointment- I can honestly say that I regret doing that because my amazing doors could have been replaced sooner than they were!After realizing the hassle (weeks at least), the mess, and the cost it was going to be I had pretty much given up! Then a neighbor said first hand that they used Home Story to replace their upstairs doors and that they were very happy with them. I figured it worth a shot to get a quote. They were able to schedule a meeting for a quote that weekend.Val came to our home, showed us our options and explained the whole process. She was able to work with us, listen to what we were looking for and went above and beyond to contact corporate to help work with meeting our needs. After getting a quote and realizing how easy they were going to make everything- it really was a no brainer. Andrew came to measure on February 5, 2019 and all 13 of our custom doors were installed on March 1, 2019 in TWO HOURS. The whole team was beyond professional, helpful and we are beyond happy with the end result. The only thing I regret is that I did not have them come sooner! Thank you to everyone from Home Story! You completely changed the look of our home and we really could not be happier!I would highly recommend Home Story to anyone and look forward to contacting you again when we decide to replace any other doors that we weren’t able to do this time around!

Replaced all of my old orange wooden doors and closets with new white contemporary ones thanks to HomeStory. Andrew made sure the measurements were correct and Ray ensured that they were installed and fit correctly. Their new manager Kate even came out to check the install and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I couldn't be happier with their work. The new doors and closets are very high quality and definitely worth the investment!

We selected Home Story of Chicago to install 8 new doors in our home starting July 2015. It is now July 2016 and the work is almost complete. By almost I mean, they still have to come back and repair/fix. A new residential building 4 East Elm which is several stories has opened faster then they were able to complete the new door installation. Original estimate I received was for work being completed within 3 months. It will have been a complete 12 month cycle. After every month or trip to my residence, there was always some excuse as to why they could not do the work that day, or why the doors did would not fit into the frames. Even though they came several times for measurements.Aside from that, they have asked for payment before the work has even completed. Trust me, if I could provide 0 stars I would.

Homestory has problems with just about every aspect of their business. We were told our doors would take 4-5 weeks. I think we are currently on week 13. No one ever called us to let us know there were production problems and when I reached out to them the answer was always "by the end of the week". They told me "by the end of the week" at least 3 times. When Homestory finally scheduled an install the crew they sent was so threatening and aggressive that my General Contractor had to send them away. This has been a complete nightmare. Homestory has production problems, customer service problems AND installation problems. I've heard numerous times that they are working to resolve these issues - they have a new supplier, they have new management, they have a new dedication to customer service - do NOT believe them. Homestory currently has a "D" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Based on my experience, I do not see this improving anytime soon.

Awful experience. They guaranteed the doors would be installed in 4-6 weeks. It's been over 4 MONTHS and they still do not have my doors. $4k worth of doors for a 2 bedroom townhouse. They can never provide me updates, do not return phone calls and refuse to allow me to cancel. This is preventing me from selling my home and I told the sales rep I wanted to have the house on the market by May 1st. Here it is the end of July and still no doors. And the sales rep, Jason, also refuses to return my calls. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I filed a complaint with the BBB and after replying with lies stating the issue was resolved they ignored further correspondence and the case is now closed with a negative outcome. I still have no doors. For your own sanity please find another vendor.

The company was fast to install our beautiful doors. The installers were very efficient and extremely courteous . We had one glitch which they took care of within 3 days. I thought it would drag out but to my surprise was corrected in only 3 days. I can't tell you how very happy are.
