These guys have a great reputation, but they did a really messy install job at our house. They've cancelled every appointment we've had for repairs, or they've shown up at inappropriate times. This is ridiculous. Do not use them.

After a lot of research we ended up getting our closet from closet factory, and are extremely happy with the results. Our designer, Ilya, was very patient, and came up with a great design. He did a great job explaining the process, and everything went as planned. The installers came on time, and did a quick but good job.

Love these people! I have worked with Kristine, one of the designers, for over 15 years. When we first moved to Pacific Palisades, she and her team came to the rescue for my closet. When we moved to Culver City, I called on her again to design a solution for our walk-in closet, my husband's music studio, my office, and our garage. Kristine took her time to think outside of the box and created amazing useful spaces for us. Now, that we moved again, I can't believe what she came up with for the new space. We have crazy angles everywhere but, she did it! Her team was professional, they cleaned up after they were finished and now, Kristine is back to inspect and do touch-ups. That is great service which gives my husband and me a great customer experience. Closet Factory, after all these years, is still my choice!

From the concept design appointment to fixing my post installation issue, these guys were great! My family and I bought a house in early November and wanted custom 'his and hers' closets in the master. I reached out to three closet companies, and heard back from two including Closet Factory. They were prompt in responding and allowed me to pick the best time to meet. I had drawn out some ideas for the closets ahead of time, and Stanley was great. First he made sure he had accurate measurements of the two spaces, and then we talked through what I wanted and how we could make that real. He had some wonderful professional design suggestions that I think gave the final product a polished look (like adding trim so there wouldn't be anywhere for dust to catch). In contrast, the other company I spoke with just gave me pricing for what I had drawn out; they didn't try to to delve into the way we use the space or add their own ideas. Closet Factory was not the cheapest option, but definitely more impressive in their professionalism and attention to detail. Since we wanted this to be part of our "perfect new home", we decided to go with the Closet Factory. Again, they worked with me to find a good installation date before our scheduled move in. When the day of installation came, it was super easy. There were two guys, and they knew what to do. They spent about 8 hours in the room putting every thing together, but were very respectful of the space, and did a wonderful job cleaning up when they were done. Before they left at the end of the day I tested about half the drawers, and found no issues. When I came back the next day, I noticed that one drawer pulled out too far, and so was hard to close. I made a mental note to reach out about this issue, but before I could I revived a follow up call asking how everything went. I explained about the one drawer, and they said no problem, they would send out a tech on Monday (this was Saturday) to take a look. Monday afternoon a guy came by, and was able to fix the issue in about 30 minutes. Closet Factory called to tell me he was on the way and when he arrived. They also followed up after to make sure there were no more issues. I 100% recommend them for their great professionalism and follow through on their projects. These guys want to give you a great closet and know how!

Installers did a lowsy job and were more interested in leaving than doing quailty work. Multiple times they asked me to sign off on the work so they could go. The shelf looked "off." I put my level to it and it was way off. They protested and went back to work. This happened several times and I spent a lot of time holding them to their word to do quality work. After 2 visits the job is still not complete I will not do business with them again and I strongly recommend doing business elsewhere.

Wow! What a great experience with Closet Factory. I know that usually people only complain online and that if people are happy they do not write a review unless they are so impressed that they cannot contain themselves. I am of the latter group. Every aspect of my dealings with this company made it the best I have ever had. Here is a rundown of my experience:1. The people on the phone were helpful and knowledgeable. They set an appointment for me that worked in my schedule.2. My Designer was exactly on time. That point alone impressed me beyond belief as so many people seem to be late these days.3. The design process was actually fun. My designer asked me many questions and before I knew it we were deciding where my long clothes would be placed and the shoes would fit. 4. There were so many colors and options and accessories. It almost seemed overwhelming there were so many, but she walked me through everything so easily. I added some things to make my closet ever more personalized.5. About two weeks later the installer arrived. Their van was really like a billboard but tasteful. My neighbor noticed the truck and come to see what I was doing. He is going to have work done in his garage now.6. The man was dressed well in a shirt with the company's name. He was so considerate of my home and used blankets to cover the carpet. I was surprised that he had to cut something at my house, but he did it in the driveway and cleaned up the sawdust.7. The install took less than a full day and it was super clean when he left. I moved my clothes in and was so happy! The closet looks AMAZING!!8. The person who designed the closet stopped by to take pictures and to make sure I was happy. A guy in the office called me the next day to make sure I was happy with the work. Boy am I ever!!Honestly, I got on Facebook the same day with pictures of my new closet. It has changed my life and I hope that you take my advice and call Closet Factory. P.S. I saw a few other closet companies and they didn't even come close to the professionalism of Closet Factory. One was super overpriced and another started high and kept taking off more and more money. It was so tacky.

If a Minus Star was possible, this is what I would grade this company. WORST EXPERIENCE ever with a vendor. Very UNPROFESSIONAL Customer Service. Installation has been a true Nightmare. My install after a 2 month period from the day they charged my card, I have not been able to schedule final installation. They don't call if they are not showing up. I call them and they can't give you an answer.Horrible. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you want a professional installation

Initially a good experience. The designer came out, spent several hours at my home and created a design.Then, we realized she measured all wrong and the job was delayed a month. When things were supposedly fixed by another designer, the installers came out and said the closet wouldn't fit in the space. When I tried to cancel the order, no one returned my call. I have left numerous messages and no follow up at all. They charged my credit card the ENTIRE amount and did absolutely NOTHING! Who does business like that? My credit card company is disputing the charges but it looks like I will be going to court with them. PLEASE BE WARNED NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY! I am shocked that Costco does business with them.. Costco has already received my letter!
