I purchase 30 gift cards at the Tim Hortons on Queen to give to children at a fund raising event at Nathan Philips square for a summer camp for sick kids. Many of them were empty and I learned that after the event. I can't get hold of the store manager as they never answer the phone. Tim Hortons Canada said they doubt they can do anything about it because the cards seem active on their computerized system. The employees who did the cards were not familiar with the process. They felt they made a mistake with some of the cards and had to swipe them twice, maybe this is why some are not working. Beside the money I spent, the biggest issue is that while I wanted to make kids feel happy, I created disappointment for some of the kids and maybe some humiliation. I am sure the reputation of my organization also suffered.

One star is too generous. I was at Tim Hortons at College Square (Ottawa) yesterday July 20 at approximately 7:00 am. Breakfast time at Tim! NOT.Two order stations opened: One of them Cash only (been like that for 3 days) as the pin machine is out of order. After waiting around 15 minutes I finally got to order a large coffee with 2 creams, one sugar and a Sesame Bagel. Processed my order on the (working pad) but as I was entering my PIN, the pin was displaying my numbers!!! Alerted the manager and she said she would contact "Chase" . I tried a second time; this time it worked. Got to my seat and well.. got 2 sugars, one cream, I literally counted 32 Sesames on my Bagel. No napkins. as they ran out. The customer line started building; after all it's breakfast time. Then it started... "Sorry we have no eggs" Sorry we have no hash browns..it'll take another 10 minutes" Sorry we are out of lettuce" A customer had ordered hash browns, paid for them yet asked for a refund given they were out. Took 10 minutes for her to get her refund. For the 30 minutes that I was there, 13 customers turned away and an additional 6 simply left the store and walked across to McDonalds. This store needs a serious check over. This is not my first complaint.

Tim Horton is spinning in his grave. If he only knew how the business that he co-founded is been run today. Complete lack of customer understanding, zero patience for the client to communicate their order, employees that are under constant pressure to provide quick but unsatisfactory service, the list is endless. Why do we as customers still provide this place with our hard earned money? Maybe It’s the convenience,or the hope that perhaps next visit will be better. I’ve been trying to get my bagel toasted by tims to my liking for the last few years and haven’t succeeded yet. Maybe I enjoy the challenge. An anxiety inducing experience to say the least. Corporate, are you listening? Is anyone there????? Are you so blinded by the shareholders and bottom line that you’re willing to let customers go unhappy? It’s only a matter of time before it all collapses in on itself. No amount of fake chicken sandwiches and fingers will be able to save you then. Get it together, retrain the mental attitude of your employees to properly listen to customers and serve them the food they deserve. I’m breaking up with you timmies. Good bye.

Feedback:

Tim horton should bring lactose free milk option... mainly it's hot drinks and there are so many of us are lactose intolerance..

Feedback:

Stopped in Port Perry Tim Hortons for my favourite Large Latte no sweetner and 2% milk. Got in my truck and drove away. Opened my drink up the road and took a sip. Ugh! Not what I expected. It tasted like hot water with a bit of coffee mixed in. I took the lid off and saw muddied water with a few flakes of expresso floating on the top. No foam and definitely no milk. Too far to turn back but the roadside weeds liked it I guess. Bucks down the drain. I was so disappointed and pissed off to say the least. I will give u another try Timmie as I do love your Lattes and then onto McDonalds if I get this stuff again.. Just sayin.

Feedback:

This is a Corporate headquarters training center for Tim Hortons, usually most of the staff you see behind the counters are store Supervisors and Managers on training. I have seen they are more worried about their numbers, serving time and "I must do this right" attitude rather than connecting with customers they are serving. It depends who is serving you, coffee and food is top notch, sometimes you will find new items on test before the launch here but connecting with their customers is kind of distant.

Feedback:

Worst customer service I've ever had at a Tim Hortons I have ever had. If you make eye contact with customers who intend to spend money at your location get help them or get somome else to help rather than ignoring paying customers. I will never eat at this location again. I have yet to decide if Tim Hortons will ever receive my patronage again.
