Greetings My family and I had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Choice Hotel 5944 Scarborough Blvd Columbus Ohio 43232 Room 102.We were awakened with horrible methane gases throughout the room. I went to the front desk and was told they knew about the problem and would shut the room down after we checked out. I needed a first floor room because of my disability but I certainly didn't expect to be poisoned in the process. I went to the front desk to check out and waited 45 minutes for no one to arrive. Please investigate and close this hotel down. I had to go to the hospital because of the intensity of the headache and am still dizzy and cannot go to work today. Please follow-up with me, as I would hate for anyone else to experience what we went through.SincerelyVanessa Sparks

Ten minutes on hold for customer service representative to find out if a room was available. Representative had such a heavy accent (Indian I believe) that I could barely understand her. Web site the pits. Slow to load, hard to navigate, and - hard to believe - no email address to contact them. Seems as if they want to make it as difficult as possible to do business with them.

Ankeny Iowa location, we stayed at this hotel June 15-17 2018. We were very displeased with just about everything and everyone we encountered. First we were never checked in to our room and the next day our room was given to another family which walked into our room while we there, the front desk was then rude and accused us of being in the wrong, then OUR keys were deactivated minutes later. Second, we stayed as a team for softball so yes our children were with us, they were yelled at more then once for jumping in the pool off the side and told they could no longer swim, even though the pool was not yet closed. Third, the front desk person was rarely there and she was the only one working on a Friday and Saturday night with a fully booked hotel. She accused us of trashing the hotel, after one of our parents asked for garbage bags to clean up the comments area, and being too noisy even though again it was not quite hours yet. We contacted the hotel and have been told we were not allowed back and they would be contacting our organizations owner, along with other feedback about how badly OUR behavior was. We were not the only team staying at this hotel that weekend and it seems as though the hotel was not ready for as many guests as were there! I have never encountered such poor customer service then with your hotel in Ankeny Iowa.

SCAM ARTISTS - They offer a bonus to buy points. Charge is declined. Their website keeps saying "re-enter card number." Declined each time though I am using a CHOICE HOTELS Visa. Look at my credit card statement and I have 4 pending charges. I call them. After 50 min. on the phone, their solution is to try it again. No points awarded.

Booked through them to ensure we could cancel a reservation if need be. Turns out one night needed to be canceled and they said nah we can't cancel. So sorry have a nice day.

Stayed at Comfort Suites in Brunswick GA. The worst hotel stay and on Mothers Day weekend!!! No towels, no sheets for pull out bed, no phone connected in the room, hallway smelled of sewage and mold. When I complained I was treated less than a customer. Front desk associate would not call the manager as requested several times. She was rude and unapologetic about the issues. She Just told me it wasn't her fault. I was soooo angry to be treated this way. I tried calling customer relations. After being on hold for 20 minutes, they pretended like they couldn't hear on the phone so they can avoid addressing the issue and hang up on you. Cathy the alleged supervisor hung up me pretending she couldnt hear. HORRIBLE! Now I know why the hotel employees act they way they do. Don't use this hotel company and/or their franchises. The worst hotel chain. NEVER AGAIN!

My name is Jill Allen Stumpf. My husband & I spent a lovely two nights in Seaside, OR at the Quality Inn there, in January 2018. So when the opportunity came to travel to Belleville IL to visit family this July,I was pleased to see a Quality Inn listed in nearby O'Fallon. Or so I thought! When I rec'd the reservation confirmation e-mail,printed in red on the e-mail was a cautionary statement:""Please check location carefully...O'Fallon ,IL and O'Fallon MO are easily confused" That was news to me. I immediately called reservations and was told only the hotel manager could cancel the reservation. This was on April 27. Today's date is May 7. After three phone calls to Customer Relations and three to the the hotel itself, I finally spoke to the the hotel manger, Omar Patel. He told me because I booked thru a third party, my reservation was locked in and was already incurring fees. He would not cancel. Then I spoke to Alissa at the Choice Hotels Corporate Office. She also will have to speak to the hotel manager. I've listened to enough hold music with the message "Our customers are important to us," that I'm having a hard time believing it. I'm still hoping for a happy ending.

Stayed on hold for 2 hours total being transferred from customer relation to reservation trying to add an extra night to out stay and was unable because we paid at the time of booking. Who knew it would be so hard to spend more money with their company.

The place I stayed is a dump the broke furniture in the rooms that got hurt on when sat in it and choice hotels just blows you off and will do nothing for you so they won't talk to me then I will let my lawyer do the talking.
